Opening: Senior Java Developer (FTE)
Danube Technologies, Inc. is looking for experienced Java developers to work on its flagship product line, ScrumWorks. Danube is an established leader in the Agile and Scrum markets, with offices in Bellevue, Washington and Portland, Oregon. The Bellevue office seeks senior Java professionals ideally with Agile experience using XP style engineering practices.
With no independent QA department, Danube seeks Java developers with a strong background in test-centric development; specifically, automated testing using JUnit, Abbot, and Selenium. Candidates must be willing and eager to devise and write their own automated tests.
Experience with Danube's technical environment is vital, including Java Swing, Eclipse, EJB 2 & 3, Ant, JUnit, and Javascript / AJAX. Candidates with Spring, Hibernate, JIDE Framework, Abbot test framework, the JBoss platform, and Continuous integration using CruiseControl get extra brownie points.
Danube's team environment fosters mentoring, pairing, and collaborative problem solving. Candidates must also have a strong willingness to work with and help impart knowledge to others in a collaborative environment.
