ScrumWorks is a multi-user system to help teams
manage Scrum projects. There are two ways to reach
the data stored on a ScrumWorks server: a
full-featured GUI application program (the ScrumWorks Desktop Client)
and a simpler ScrumWorks Web
(browser-based) Client. The Desktop Client
allows complete manipulation of all ScrumWorks data.
The Web Client provides convenient personalized
access when the full power of the Desktop Client
isn't needed.
ScrumWorks users are created and modified by the Administrator user. ScrumWorks users can log into both the Desktop Client and Web Client.

The ScrumWorks Desktop Client has two main windows,
one for the big picture (the Product Backlog Window) and the
other for daily Scrum meetings (the Sprint Detail Window). There's
also an Impediments
Window.

The Product Backlog window
fills the main screen once a Product has been opened
or created. It allows you to edit, prioritize, and
schedule work.Use the context menus (right click) over objects in this window to see what you can do to them.
Higher priority work appears higher on the list than lower priority work. You can reprioritize and schedule work by dragging and dropping backlog items, tasks, and releases.
The left pane represents Sprints (typically 4-week iterations) in chronological order. The right pane represents "uncommitted" (unscheduled) work, optionally organized into "releases." You can also use the "release" feature to group related backlog items.
The tabs on the left pane display the teams that are working on the open product.

Double click any red Sprint row in the Product Backlog Window to get a Sprint Detail Window. We recommend projecting this view for all participants to see during daily Scrum meetings. Some teams choose to apply task status and remaining time updates from this window during the daily Scrum meetings.
Double click the data to edit it. Click the column headings to sort the tasks.

"What prevents you from
performing your work as efficiently as
possible?"The ScrumMaster must drive the resolution of the Scrum team's impediments. Click the "View Impediments" button from either of the other windows to track project-wide impediments.

ScrumWorks also provides a lightweight web
browser-based (HTML) client for easy access from any
computer. The ScrumWorks Web Client presents a
personalized summary for an individual user between
daily Scrum meetings.
The Web Client is a convenience feature not intended as a full replacement for the Desktop Client.
