Features: Reporting and Analytics
ScrumWorks® Pro provides all the necessary tools to produce reality-based metrics:
  • Real-time, user-defined reporting to stakeholders
  • tracks velocity, the rate at which the software is completed
  • tracks the rate of requirements change
  • tracks the rate at which value is added to the product
ScrumWorks Pro rolls up the data in convenient reports, accessible from anywhere on the network.

Real-Time Web Reports
  • User-generated reports are published as convenient web links
  • Real-time updates reflect changes immediately without republishing reports
  • Convenient one-bookmark reporting for stakeholders and management with no authentication
  • Drag and drop report builder makes it easy to generate custom reports

Forecast Analysis
  • Plots the rate at which teams complete outstanding work
  • Plots the rate at which requirements change
  • Schedule is extrapolated based on rate of progress and requirements change

Burndown Charts Filtered by Theme
Release Burndown Charts can be filtered for one or more "Themes", allowing report generation on user-defined subsets of the Product Backlog. For example, users can select the Release (or Releases) that they wish to chart, then further refine the data by selecting a particular Theme.

Burndown Trending Options
Burndown Charts have several trending projection options for creating highly customizable charts. In addition to the "best-fit" trend (calculated with a Least Squares algorithm ) ScrumWorks Pro offers an average trend (calculated as the mean of the velocities), and several customizable projections. Projections allow the user to see how forecast completion dates change with different parameters. The new projections allow us to graph trend lines using data from:

  • the Last N sprint,
  • the Best N sprints,
  • the Worst N sprints, and
  • A user specified "theoretical" projection.

Cross Product Reporting
  • High-level view of progress across several products and releases
  • Gauge progress based on working software completed

Earned Business Value
As Business Value is defined in Program structures, the Earned Business Value Report tracks rate at which value is being added to the Program.
  • "Burn-up" report can be run from any group defined in the hierarchy
  • Show completion threshold on the graph when 100% of value is not anticipated
  • Show trendline for rate of progress
  • Extrapolate a completion forecast to 100% Earned Business Value

Audit Change Log
This new feature captures a record of all changes made in ScrumWorks Pro for tracking and auditing purposes.
  • Change event, user committing the change, and the date and time of change are tracked
  • Filter log by username, entity name/key, and other important factors
  • Copy changes to the clipboard for portability
