Bugzilla and JIRA integration
In keeping with our commitment to integrate ScrumWorks™ Pro with best-of-breed productivity tools, we're pleased to announce integration with both Bugzilla and JIRA. Items entered in JIRA and Bugzilla can be imported in ScrumWorks™ Pro as backlog items, and can then be manipulated just like any Product Backlog Item. Some of the highlights of our Bugzilla and JIRA integration include:
  • The ability to search and select which issues to import
  • Bugzilla and JIRA issues may be individually select or imported in bulk
  • Bugzilla and JIRA specific fields are imported as distinct PBI fields
  • Import and search support for custom fields
  • Issues may be imported into the same Product from several different servers
  • Imported items may be refreshed in bulk or individually
  • Quick links are available to edit PBI details from within Bugzilla or JIRA.

Burndown Charts filtered by Theme
We have extended the Enhanced Product Burndown chart to filter based upon a Theme in addition to filtering by Release. So, users can select the Release (or Releases) that they wish to chart, then further refine the data by selecting a particular Theme.

New trending options for the Enhanced Product Burndown graph
Several new trend lines and projections have been added to the Enhanced Product Burndown to offer a highly customizable chart. In addition to the "best-fit" trend (calculated with a Least Squares algorithm ) we have added an average trend (calculated as the mean of the velocities), and several customizable projections. Projections allow the user to see how forecast completion dates change with different parameters. The new projections allow us to graph trend lines using data from:
  • the Last N sprint,
  • the Best N sprints,
  • the Worst N sprints, and
  • A user specified "theoretical" projection.

Updates to the Web Client Task Board
We continue to extend our web client with the introduction of new functionality and a number of minor bug fixes. Impediments can now be entered and updated via the web client, and several minor but annoying UI inconsistencies have been resolved.

Miscellaneous Updates
The Summer '07 release also introduces some additional updates to existing functionality:
  • User Access Controls (Roles & Permissions) can now be enabled or disabled on a product by product basis
  • Unique identifiers for PBIs that can be customized by product.
