Certified Scrum Product Owner Certification & Training
Who is the Product Owner? What are his responsibilities? How does he drive release planning?
CollabNet’s Product Owner Certification focuses on the Product Owner’s role within the Scrum framework. This two-day training session results in the participant becoming a Certified Product Owner through the Scrum Alliance.
In Scrum, the Product Owner is the single individual responsible for the success of a project. He is responsible for prioritizing the backlog, negotiating work with the Team, accepting or rejecting each product increment, as well as release planning. In this course, participants will learn how to create and maintain a backlog as well as write stories with clear acceptance criteria. Real world organizational challenges will also be discussed, such as managing distributed teams, managing large or multiple projects, release planning, and metrics.
All courses taught by Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Trainers who have been approved to teach the Certified Product Owner course by the Scrum Alliance.
CollabNet is a Registered Education Provider (REP) of the Project Management Institute (PMI). In addition to meeting the Scrum Alliance certification requirements our CSM course provides 14 PMI PDUs and a 2 year membership to the Scrum Alliance.
